⚠️  EQUINE INFLUENZA BIOSECURITY GUIDELINES  ⚠️

As many of you will already be aware, there has been an increase in Equine Influenza cases nationally in recent weeks.

To help protect all horses and ponies attending Aberhall Equestrian for shows, clinics, and arena hire, all visiting horses and ponies must be fully vaccinated against Equine Influenza. Please do not attend if your horse or pony is not fully up to date with their vaccinations.

Please ensure you bring your horse’s passport with you, as spot checks may be carried out during events, clinics, and hire sessions. Any horse or pony found to have incorrect or out-of-date vaccinations will be asked to leave the site immediately.

Whilst on site, we kindly ask all visitors to follow our biosecurity guidance, particularly within the car parks, warm-up arenas, and when handling equipment around fellow competitors and horses.

Please:
• Avoid unnecessary nose-to-nose contact with unfamiliar horses
• Avoid sharing tack, grooming kits, or water buckets
• Wash or sanitise your hands between handling different horses

Hand sanitiser will be available at the arena gates — please use it on entry and exit.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us keep Aberhall Equestrian safe for everyone.
