About the Event
The winter video dressage series is a series of six dressage shows, one per month between October 2025 and March 2026. Registration is Free and automatic – points are awarded for 1st – 6th places and accumulated per combination of section/junior under 16/senior classes over the series with a fabulous end of season champion Rosettes and Trophies to the overall winners.
Simply record yourself riding one of the below tests, complete the online entry form below and submit you video via WhatsApp to 07739 744764.Can be ridden on a surface or on grass. Arena must measure 40m x 20m or as close to as possible. Dressage markers should be visible, at least half of the arena must be in shot for the entirety of the test and must be filmed from the C end of the school.
There is no need to wear show gear but gloves, correct hat, boots and British Dressage legal tack must be worn.
A 20m x 40m boarded arena will be set up in the arena at Aberhall in the week leading up to each show and will be available for hire for you to film your tests.Entry to this event is £12 per rider.

Notice
We have split class 2 into sections 2a and 2b.
Class 2a is a confidence boosting class for nervous or less experienced riders who are perhaps new or fairly new to dressage.
Class 2b Rider/horse combinations must not have competed in any BD novice class previously at any venue.
Class 3 Rider/horse combinations must not has competed in any BD novice class previously at any venue.
Results will be posted on our Facebook page and test sheets will be sent back via WhatsApp a maximum of 7 days after the show date. Rosettes are available to collect from Aberhall or can be posted to you for an additional fee of £2.50
