The Event
The summer dressage series is a series of six dressage shows at Aberhall Equestrian, one per month between April and October 2026.
Each show includes six classes split into junior and senior sections and suitable for a wide range of riders.
League registration is free and automatic for horse /rider combinations and points are awarded in each show for 1st – 6th places. These points are accumulated over the series with fabulous end of season sponsor embossed Champion rosettes, sashes and perpetual trophies to the overall winners of each class.
Classes
Class 1 – Aberhall Mini’s – Test 5
Class 2a – Aberhall Intro – Test 5 (see note below)
Class 2b – BD Introductory 2 – 2024
Class 3 – Aberhall Canter – Test 5 (see note below)
Class 4 – BD Prelim 2 – 2024
Class 5 – BD Novice 2 – 2024

Please Note
We have split class 2 into sections 2a and 2b.
Class 2a – is a confidence boosting class for nervous or less experienced riders who are perhaps new or fairly new to dressage.
Class 2b – Rider/horse combinations must not have competed in any BD Novice class previously at any venue.
Class 3 – Rider/horse combinations must not have competed in any BD novice class previously at any venue.
These rules apply to both senior and junior riders.
